PARENTS’ ASSOCIATION TENNIS SOCIALS

Calling all parents, alumni parents and grandparents! The Parents’ Association is hosting two opportunities to enjoy a day of tennis on the beautiful Upper School Tennis Courts. Connect with your Flint Hill family at this casual community-building event! Whether you are advanced or new to the game, this is a wonderful opportunity to meet other families while enjoying some friendly competition. Players of all levels are welcome.    

These events are free, but we do ask that you register in advance. Find registration information and details for each event below.

Friday, September 15
Tennis Courts - Middle and Upper School Campus
Rain Date: Monday, September 18

Join fellow Flint Hill Parents at this round-robin tournament and skills development event! Plan to stay after play has ended for a light lunch, raffles, and prizes.  

TOURNAMENT 

Players will be matched by skill and ability in a friendly round robin tournament. Play four rounds of mixed doubles to get to know more parents. Tournament play is limited to the first 32 registrants.

SCHEDULE 

  • 8:30 a.m. Warm-Up and Player Check-In
  • 9:00 a.m. Matches Begin
  • 9:30 a.m. Skills and Drills Participant Check-In
  • 10:00 a.m. Clinic Activities
  • 11:30 a.m. Lunch and Player Prizes

Return to campus and reconnect with Flint Hill friendships at this casual tournament. You never know what faculty or staff members you might get to see there too! Join current parents for lunch before the clinic and matches begin for alumni parents and grandparents.

SKILLS AND DRILLS CLINIC 

New to the game? Sharpen your skills and improve your game with the help of Upper School Tennis Coach Steve Spratt. Skills and drills are limited to the first 20 registrants.  A waitlist will be available once registration is full, and interested players will be contacted should space become available.
