    JANUARY 31, 2024

    Letter From the Division Director

    Dear Lower School Families,

Yesterday, we came together as a JK-12 community to celebrate Flint Hill Day. It brings us immense joy to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Emma Barnes for her remarkable 20 years of dedicated teaching at Flint Hill Lower School and all the Driving Spirit Award winners! We are especially proud of Ms. Donna Holaday, a recipient of this year’s Driving Spirit Award, who has been a cornerstone of our Lower School for 17 years, providing exceptional care and support to us all daily!

We hope our JK-3 parents enjoyed visiting specials classrooms and the informative parent coffee gathering on Lower School counseling and social-emotional learning last Friday. We look forward to welcoming everyone for our next open classroom visit on Friday, February 16 (grades JK-3) and Friday, February 23 (grades 4-6).

As a reminder, we will not have school for students on Monday, February 12, as we will hold a Professional Development Day.

If you have any questions, concerns, or simply want to discuss any aspect of your child's education, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We value your input and partnership in ensuring the success and well-being of your child.

Thank you for your continued support and involvement in the Lower School community.

    Warmly,

    Madeleine Lopez
    Director of the Lower School
